Azerbaijan evacuates its citizens from Nepal

Azerbaijan evacuates its citizens from Nepal

The plane carrying humanitarian aid to Nepal due to Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev`s instructions returns back today. Oktay Bayramov, the spokesman for the Ministry of Emergency Situations told AzVision.az

As mentioned before, under the order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations had sent humanitarian aid to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal hit by a powerful earthquake.

The humanitarian aid sent by “BE-200ÇS” aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations included one ton of various drugs and medical supplies, tents, blankets and packaged drinking water.

O. Bayramov said evacuation of Azerbaijanis in the disaster zone will be implemented with the same aircraft.
