“We had a meeting with Ozbiliz. He has violated the terms of the contract and will therefore be fined. Ozbiliz admitted to be wrong for acting emotionally and that he is ready to take the penalty. However, Araz Ozbiliz held that the media has actually misinterpreted his statements,” said Roman Askhabadze, adding that he would meet with Yakin in the near future to make a joint decision in this regard.
Note that, Araz Ozbiliz, a Dutch footballer of Armenian background, has uttered serious discontent about coach Murat Yakin, who is of Turkish origin with Swiss citizenship, saying that the coach dismissed him from the team following the marking of the centenary of the so-called Armenian genocide on 24 April.
