Azerbaijani scientists attend International Culture, Art And Folklore Congress in Russia
Azerbaijani scientists attended the International Culture, Art and Folklore Congress co-organized in Rostov-on-Don city of Russia on 23-27 April, 2015 by Southern Federal University (Russia), Selcuk University (Turkey) and MIRAS Social Organization in Support of Studying of Cultural Heritage (Azerbaijan).
According to MIRAS Public Organization, speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Anton Ivanesko, Associate Professor of Southern Federal University and Ahmad Aytach, chairman of the organizing committee highlighted that the event holding with the support of the universities from three countries- Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia, will contribute to their economic and cultural relations.

The participants from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia presented 50 reports and 12 posters.

Azerbaijani scientists submitted poster-reports on topics "An ancient Turkish art in Azerbaijan", "About the culture and folklore of the Turkic-speaking peoples ", "The ancient relics and modern state of the traditional handicraft heritage in Sheki city of Azerbaijan" and others.

The joint research of Azerbaijani and Russian scientists “Preliminary results of research carried out with the use of metal detectors in the area of medieval city Mehravan”, aroused interest among the participants.

The participants and the heads of the symposium committee were presented certificates and Diplomas.
