Turkish man hit by stray bullet from Syria dies in Ankara
Turkish national Ahmet Gündüz, who was injured in Ceylanpınar township of Şanlıurfa province by a stray bullet fired from the Syrian side of the border, lost his life nine days after he was hospitalized on July 16.

A bullet fired on July 16 during a clash between PYD forces and Al Nusra Front in Ras al Ayn township of Syria`s Haseki city, hit Ahmet Gündüz in the head as he was in front of his house located near the border.

After his initial treatment in Şanlıurfa, Gündüz was transferred on July 17 to Hacettepe University`s Faculty of Medicine.

He lost his life after staying under treatment for eight days.

Last week, a stray bullet fired from the Syrian side killed 17-year-old Mahsun Ertuğrul after hitting him in the chest.
