486 mine specialists along with 115-person support staff are carrying out the operations, using 6 mechanical demining machines and 36 mine-detection dogs.
To date, a total of 284,700,992 square meters of area has been cleared. The neutralized mines and UXOs are numbered at 690,104.
The clearing operations are continuing in the districts of Ganja, Aghjabedi, Aghdam, Beylagan, Khojavand, Lankaran, Aghstafa, Fuzuli, Gazakh, Goranboy, Tovuz, Garadagh, Absheron, and Terter.
In April 2015, 2 mine/UXO accidents were recorded.
