Protesters set fire to hotel in Iran over death of female worker
A group of protesters set fire to Tara Hotel in the Iranian western city of Mahabad after the mysterious death of one of its workers, named Parinaz Khosravani.
Protesters have claimed that the woman jumped to her death from the building to avoid being raped by an Iranian security officer, Iran’s IRNA news agency reported May 8.

The city officials have announced that the officer has been arrested and will be sentenced, if convicted.

Meanwhile, investigations by the Police are underway.
