Baku Tourism Information Center has taken a range of measures in connection with the upcoming First European Games in Baku, Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism told.
The stand and banner of the European Games have been installed at the center’s entrance and advertising printed matter providing information about the country’s tourism potential has been prepared. Moreover, a souvenir shop has been installed at the center.

English language courses have been organized for the specialists of Baku Tourism Information Center in order to render high-quality services to the guests of the capital and tourists.

Meanwhile, Baku Tourism Information Center has switched to the intensified work schedule: it will operate till 21:00 (UTC/GMT +5 hours) including on weekends.

Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.

There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.

Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
