The construction of the four-story building, designed for 150 people, kicked off in 2012. The building has work and technical rooms, a dining room for 24 people, a kitchen, and administrative rooms and a conference hall.
The building’s architect is Rauf Khidirov. It was awarded the status of cultural heritage, and has a total area of 3,383.51 square meters.
During the opening of the building, which was attended by Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, it was noted that the opening of SOCAR’s new office is an example of developing working cooperation and partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
