Vienna to host new round of Iran-P5+1 nuclear talks
Iran and the P5+1 group will continue talks on the process of drafting a final deal in Vienna on May 20.
The Iranian nuclear negotiating team, headed by deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi, will travel to Vienna tomorrow, Iran’s Fars news agency reported on May 19.

Previously, Araghchi and EU political director, Helga Schmid, who represents the P5+1, held four-day talks started on May 11 in Vienna.

He said that the Lausanne statement was a summarized one and a half page report of all that happened. However, the final deal would be over 20 pages with over 50 pages of appendices.

Iran and the P5+1 group of countries – the United States, France, Britain, Russia and China plus Germany - reached a mutual understanding on Tehran’s nuclear program in the Swiss city of Lausanne on April 2.

The parties have agreed to finalize a comprehensive deal on Tehran’s nuclear program by the end of June.
