An agreement on maritime transport was signed between the governments of Azerbaijan and Poland at a meeting May 20.
The agreement contains such provisions as banning of discrimination in the relations between the two sides and free competition, the conditions created for ships in the ports, internal waters and territorial seas, the mutual recognition of documents of ships, technical cooperation, international obligations, conflict settlement and others.
The development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland in the field of maritime transport was discussed during the meeting. The importance of strengthening the relations in this area was stressed.
