House of Representatives of the US State of Connecticut issued a statement about the Khojaly tragedy, AzVision.az reports quoting the Azerbaijani Embassy in the US.
The statement notes that Armenian armed forces brutally killed hundreds of Azerbaijanis in Khojaly on February 26,1992. A number of states, particularly in the United States, international organizations and the leading media agencies strongly condemned the fact.
The document put forward on the initiative of Joe Aresimovich, the Majority Leader of the House; Kevin Ryan, Caroline Simmons, members of the House was approved by the Speaker of the House and the Secretary of State of Connecticut.
