Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran receives delegation of Caspian Energy
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Aein has received Natalya Aliyeva, President and Editor-in Chief of Caspian Energy International Media Group, and Jeyhun Bayramov, Editor of Caspian Energy journal.

Discussed during the meeting were possibilities to expand cooperation within the framework of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group as well as the release of a special issue dedicated to the economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Ambassador Mohsen Pak Aein highly assessed the activity of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group, emphasizing that he carefully views the articles and materials published at www.caspianenergy.net and Caspian Energy journal, which is spread in 50 countries of the world. According to him, the journal provides deep analysis of events occurring in the Caspian-Black Sea region.

The ambassador has expressed interest in publication of articles and interviews about the Iranian economy on pages of Caspian Energy as well as in arranging meetings of heads of ministries and departments within the framework of the Caspian European Club, which will promote expansion of information exchange.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Aein gave an exclusive interview to Caspian Energy. Speaking about prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, in his interview with Caspian Energy Ambassador Mohsen Pak Aein emphasized that “much closer cooperation in the field of energy, banking sector, provision of much broader insurance coverage by guarantee funds and hedging funds as well as creation of joint ventures between the leading large companies of the private sector of Iran and Azerbaijan will be our major priorities after lifting the sanctions”.

According to him, these steps are a precondition for further expansion of bilateral relations
