The UK can help Azerbaijan in the development of Islamic financing, the Lord Mayor of the City of London Alderman Alan Yarrow said June 1 in Baku at the forum dedicated to financial markets.
He said that the United Kingdom may also help Azerbaijan in the sphere of financial services and infrastructure.
Baku hosts London Stock Exchange forum organized jointly with the PASHA Bank and Deloitte on June 1. The latest economic achievements and investment environment in Azerbaijan, integration issues between the capital markets of Azerbaijan and Great Britain and others will be discussed during the forum.
The event is attended by representatives of the State Committee for Securities of Azerbaijan, the London Stock Exchange, EBRD, Azerbaijani banks and others.
