Jack Warner, from Trinidad and Tobago and Paraguayan Nicolás Leoz are the former top-level FIFA officials on the wanted list. The corporate executives are Argentinians Alejandro Burzaco, Hugo Jinkis and Mariano Jinkis, and Brazilian José Margulies. "A Red Notice is not an international arrest warrant, and Interpol cannot compel any member country to arrest the subject of a Red Notice," the international law-enforcement organization said in its statement.
Media reports say the U.S. probe into corruption at FIFA is now focusing on Sepp Blatter, who stepped down as president of the body on Tuesday just days after his re-election.
