Gennady Zuganov: `European Games may stop conflicts`

`I hope that during European Games we put an end to conflicts. Sports competitions are better than conflicting.` The head of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov, who is currently on a visit to Baku, told reporters.

"I`m glad that such a legendary city as Baku hosts I European games", said Gennady Zyuganov, noting that the holding of the First European Games in Azerbaijan is an indicator of development of the Republic.

The head of the Communist Party stressed that he got familiar with sports facilities constructed for the games and really admired them.
