The participants of the 1/32 eliminations have been determined as a result of the competitions.
Azerbaijani athletes Taras Senyuk, Alexey Kopnin and Roman Vengerov ranked 45, 50, and 57th, respectively, as a result of the ranking round.
Thus, in the 1/32 finals, Senyuk will compete with Jeff Henckels from Luxemburg, Kopnin with Bair Tsybekdorzhiev (Russia) and Vengerov with Lucas Daniel (France).
The 1/32 finals will be held June 20.
Moreover, men’s team ranking round in archery has also finished, with Azerbaijan’s team ranking at 12th place.
Azerbaijan team will compete with Italian team in 1/8 eliminations June 17.
The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28.
There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
