Those victims are described as a 24-year-old who sustained a gunshot wound to his neck and a 25-year-old who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest.
A 3-year-old girl and two 10-year-old girls were also being treated for graze wounds at nearby hospitals. Two others, identified as a 46-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, were additionally hospitalized for graze wounds.
All five of those victims are listed in stable condition, police said.
Authorities previously reported that only five people had been injured in the shooting which took place in the 700 block of East Hilton St.
They said they`re looking for a black male who was last seen wearing a black handkerchief on his face and a red and white tank shirt.
He`s described as standing around 5-foot-7, and ranging in age from 25 to his 30s.
The violent attack comes after another seven people were wounded when a man similarly opened fire with a shotgun less than four miles away on Ogden Street.
In that attack, described by police as completely unrelated, an 11-year-old girl was struck in the knee and shoulder, and a 13-year-old boy hit in the chest, according to NBC Philadelphia.
Like Monday`s shooting, the gunman remains on the loose, police said.
