The relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are on a strategic level and actively developing. Both countries support anti-American position.
Today, Armenian government suffers lack of confidence in Kremlin in compare with Azerbaijan. It is not secret to anybody that Russia is going to replace its peace Peacekkepers in Nagorno Karabakh. Azerbaijan also do not conceal its intention on joining the EAEC. And these efforts made by the countries is because of the Nagorno Karabakh.
Speaking about the Russian policy pursued in the Post-Soviet region, Shahnazaryan said, Russia uses all its efforts - by means of both its internal and economic power, also taking into concideration security issues - to put more pressure on Armenian government.
