Azerbaijanis living in Bavaria and nearby federal lands staged a large-scale protest rally on the central square of Marienplatz in Munich.

Despite the allowed number of participants, about 500 people joined the rally initiated by the House of Azerbaijan based in the Bavarian capital, AzVision.az reports.

The entire square was colored in the colors of Azerbaijan’s national flag. The rally participants chanted various slogans, echoing the voice of the Azerbaijani diaspora throughout the city.

Passers-by stopped to inquire about the demands of the crowd. The participants explained to the Germans the true essence of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as what happened on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The rally participants expressed their solidarity with the Azerbaijani people, their love for their native land, and gratitude to the soldiers defending country’s borders.

The leaders of diaspora organizations, intellectuals, scientists and students made speeches at the rally. Representatives of the Turkish, Kyrgyz, Tatar, Kazakh, and Uzbek diaspora organizations also joined the rally to Azerbaijan.

The rally ended with the adoption of an appeal to the international community with a call to condemn Armenia’s ongoing aggression against Azerbaijan.
