Provocations committed by Armenia against Diplomatic Missions of Azerbaijan in foreign countries, as well as peaceful Azerbaijani protestors in the past week are of terrorist and criminal nature, the statement made by Azerbaijan MFA reads.
The statement made by Azebaijani MFA condemns these criminal acts, which are based on hatred.
“In accordance with the Vienna Convention, the country where the diplomatic missions exist is responsible to prevent attacks against diplomatic missions and diplomats. Appealing to brother countries, Azerbaijan demands prevention of provocations committed against Diplomatic Missions of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis abroad. The Azerbaijani state always stands by our compatriots.Our diplomatic missions were given relevant instructions to provide legal assistance to our compatriots,” the statement reads.
