The first vaccine, developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and dubbed Sputnik V, was registered in Russia earlier this month, Sputnik reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that a second vaccine against COVID-19 will be developed in September.
"There will be another vaccine ready in September... the drug is being developed by the famous Vector Institute in Novosibirsk", Putin said.
