Launching a rocket attack on Ganja where 1 person died and 32 got wounded is a war crime, State Duma deputy, head of the Russia-Azerbaijan friendship group Dmitry Saveliev told AzVision.az.
“As Ganja is the second largest city of Azerbaijan and is located 60 kilometers from the front line, I believe the Armenian Army deliberately targeted and attacked to harm the people of Azerbaijan”, Dmitry Saveliev noted.
"The world community must resolutely condemn such actions and put pressure on the official authorities of Armenia to prevent such events in the future. Russia stands on the positions of recognizing the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the need to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully within the framework of international law.It is necessary to stop the bloodshed by the immediate withdrawal of Armenian troops from all occupied territories, which will allow refugees to return back to their lands and start the peaceful process of self-determination of Nagorno-Karabakh through a referendum, "the Russian deputy noted.
