 3 killed as rockets fired from Armenia hit Azerbaijan

Since the morning of October 5, 2020, the Armenian Armed Forces continue to fire rockets into the densely populated areas of Beylagan region and the city of Ganja, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan reported. 

As a result of the rockets fired from Armenia into Ganja, 3 civilians were killed near the Ganja International Hospital, secondary school No. 34, furniture factory on Shah Ismayil Khatai Street, the area called "Yevlakh bus station" and the Central Market. The person was hospitalized with various injuries, and civilian infrastructure was severely damaged.

At the same time, one of the two rockets fired into Beylagan hit the yard of a kindergarten, and the other hit an empty area in the city.

The Ganja City Prosecutor's Office has launched a criminal case under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The prosecutor's office took necessary investigative measures.
