Turkey ready to render financial assistance to Greece
Turkey expects Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu`s order to render financial support to Greece, Kanal7 TV channel reported July 2 with reference to Turkish Minister of Finance Mehmet Simsek.
Simsek said that Turkey has the opportunity to render financial support to Greece.

Earlier, Davutoglu said that Ankara is ready to render any support to Athens to revive the economy.

He said that stability in Greece is important for Turkey.

Last Sunday, the creditors refused to grant Greece a deferral of payments on the IMF loans and did not renew the international program of financial assistance to the country for the third time without coordinating the Greek reform program.

Greece`s leaving the euro zone can be the result. This will be a serious blow not only for the single European currency, but will have a negative impact on the world economy as a whole.
