PACE to discuss Azerbaijani presidential election observation issues
It is planned to view the issue of observation of the upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan at the next meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which will be held in Dubrovnik city of Croatia on September 2, according to a message posted on the official website of PACE`s Bureau.

According to the message, the issue in connection with the observation mission to the Azerbaijani presidential elections which will be held on October 9, as well as to the Georgian presidential elections on October 27, will be reviewed at the meeting.

PACE will send a delegation consisting of 32 people to the country to observe the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.

The delegation will be in Baku from October 7 to October 10.

The delegation of seven people will arrive in Baku from September 10 to September 13 to monitor pre-election situation in the republic, PACE said.

This delegation will hold a press-conference on September 13.

PACE will deliver a final report on the elections after the observation of the elections is completed.

Previous presidential elections were held on October 15, 2008. Presidential elections in Azerbaijan are held each five years.
