The Armenian leadership created no condition for a meeting, Safarov said, adding from the very beginning, the Azerbaijani side wanted to conduct talks with the Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Safarov noted that the international media isn’t sufficiently highlighting the developments in Armenia.
“Most of the mass media outlets turn blind eyes to these events. It makes us more confidence that there are double standards and injustice. Armenians are holding protests and demanding their rights, but they try to hide it,” noted the public union head.
