3 Dead in Shooting Near University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus
Four people were shot, three fatally, in a shooting near the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus, police said.
The shooting was reported after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of West Fayette Street, authorities said.

Detective Rashawn K. Strong said in a statement that one woman and two men were found with gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second man and the woman died at a nearby hospital.

A fourth victim walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound and was later listed in stable condition, police said.

According to a statement by the university, students were advised to use caution in the area. There’s no word whether any of the victims were students at the school.

The shooting remains under investigation.
