Global coronavirus cases exceed 74 million mark

Global coronavirus cases exceed 74 million mark

The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide surpassed the 74 million mark Tuesday, according to Worldometers.

Worldometers has recorded 74,534,175 infections and 1,655,226 deaths since the virus first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December.

Some 52.3 million people worldwide have recovered from the disease.

In recent days, COVID-19 cases have been growing worldwide.
