According to the Azerbaijani community in Brussels, the initial version of the draft decision contained biased views against Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told AzVision.az.
Following the appeal of the Azerbaijani community members to the Ixelles municipality and the meetings held, a fair approach was ensured, and the text of the decision was changed.
Ixelles, one of Brussels' 19 municipalities, is located in the central part of the capital. More than 170 foreign citizens live in this area with a population of about 90,000 people.
