Armenia given 3 days to return Shurnukh village to Azerbaijan

The village of Shurnukh in Syunik region (historically called Zangazur) will come under control of Azerbaijan, Hakob Arshakyan, head of the village community, wrote on his Facebook page, AzVision.az reports.

“It’s all over. Azerbaijanis, Russians and our [Armenian] border guards have arrived. They gave us a deadline by January 5, they will set up a post in the middle of village,” Arshakyan wrote.

Arshakyan noted that this process will take place in line with the map dating back to 1942 of the General Staff of the USSR Armed Forces.
