“This year will celebrate 30 years since the official recognition of Azerbaijan’s independence by France on December 31, 1991 – three weeks after the collapse of the USSR. France was the second country after Turkey to establish diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan, thus reviving a tradition dating from the first Azerbaijani parliamentary republic,” the Embassy said in its congratulatory message.
The Embassy noted that its staff is looking forward to celebrating this important anniversary with Azerbaijanis by expressing support for relevant projects.
“Whether you are a researcher, entrepreneur, teacher, student, artist, tourist, farmer, computer scientist, civil servant, start-up creator, designer, filmmaker, doctor, women's rights activist, climate change activist, or retired, privately or professionally, the French Embassy in Azerbaijan is there to help you realize your projects in relation to our country. We wish you health and prosperity, say “see you soon” for further cooperation!” the message reads.
