Armenia’s Pashinyan speaks about transport links with Nakhchivan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced the priority points for Yerevan in the trilateral statement of November 10 on Karabakh.

“For Yerevan, first of all, it is important to implement the 8th paragraph of the statement, namely, a full exchange of prisoners, hostages and detainees, as well as expanding the scale of search and rescue operations in the combat zone,” Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

He noted that the second priority point is to unblock transport and economic communications in the region.

“The Armenian authorities consider it a priority to unblock transport and economic communications in the region, which implies both cargo transportation from Armenia to Russia and Iran through the territory of Azerbaijan, and transport communications from Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan through the territory of Armenia,” Pashinyan wrote.
