In Your Stomach, See What a Burger becomes - V?DEO
Have you ever ask yourself questions or express a wish to know about what a fast food meal might become, to change food in your stomach into substances that your body can use (digesting) in your stomach"s stew of hydrochloric acid?
Well ask yourself questions no longer, thanks to the mad scientists at The University of Nottingham. The UK university’s Chemistry Department maintains the website “Periodic Videos” which looks to give short eye-catching demonstrations of chemistry concepts in a form approachable by laymen, including young K-12 scientists.

In the latest video they shows what a burger becomes after digestion for a few hours. It’s pretty wild stuff, visually speaking.

To state the obvious this isn’t an “experiment” per se (in spite of the label on the burger dish)… it’s more of a demonstration. But it’s a really cool sciency demonstration that would make even Bill Nye proud. It’s definitely worth checking out — but don’t watch it while eating fast food unless you have a “strong stomach.”

The researchers in this particular video include the white haired Professor Sir Martyn Poliakoff and his labmate Darren Walsh with the short haircut.
