Earlier, Vaezi said that he was closer than other cabinet ministers to Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and other foreign ministry employees.
That was while Iran`s senior nuclear negotiator and deputy foreign minister Abbas Araqchi said there is no guarantee that Iran and world powers will reach a final agreement on Iran’s nuclear program tonight or tomorrow.
“I cannot promise that the job will be done tonight or tomorrow, but there is hope,” Araqchi said.
After missing several deadlines, Iran and the P5+1(five permanent members of the UN Security Council – the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China – plus Germany) are still holding intensive talks in Vienna to iron out the remaining differences and nail down a landmark deal on Tehran’s nuclear program.
July 13 is the most recent deadline Iran and the group P5+1 have given themselves.
