An official welcome was held at the Ministry of Fegemse. The guest walked by the guard of honor and the anthems of the two countries were sounded.
First deputy Defense Minister of Azerbaijan-chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Najmeddin Sadikov and colonel-general Zhasuzakov held a private meeting and then met in an expanded format. During the meeting the guest was informed about the occupation of our lands as a result of Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan, about the refugees and displaced persons in our country.
Then the sides discussed cooperation in military and military and technical spheres, issues of mutual exchange of experience of the armed forces, security of the Caspian Sea, regional security of both states.
During the meeting, the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan signed a protocol of cooperation.
As part of the visit to Azerbaijan, the Kazakh delegation plans to go to the High military school named after Heydar Aliyev, Marine college, Military Games Center, marine base and familiarize with Azerbaijani peaceekepers.
The visit will last until July 15.
