Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin and US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan discussed bilateral ties over the phone on Tuesday, an official statement said, AzVision.az reports citing Anadolu Agency.
Besides Turkey-US relations, the top officials discussed Eastern Mediterranean, Cyprus, Afghanistan, Nagorno-Karabakh, Syria, Libya and the COVID-19 pandemic during the nearly 1-hour-long conversation.
The two officials agreed on strengthening political dialogue regarding Syria and Libya, and noted that a joint and effective fight was essential to confront terror groups.
