State Committee: Parallel activities of diaspora organizations to contribute to Azerbaijan
If diaspora organizations in some countries cannot cooperate together and this dilutes a common cause or leads to the collapse of such structures, then the parallel activities of these organizations will be more effective for the state and statehood of Azerbaijan, chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov told journalists on Friday.
According to him, such facts are observed in several countries where parallel diaspora structures are created.

"Work is being carried there, where there is a healthy competition. For example, the materials are written under such headings such as `Why Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine do not unite?`, these questions are asked and, dissatisfaction is expressed. In this situation, parallel organizations are created, and there is a healthy competition. The most important thing is that people who are dedicated to Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani state are working in all of these communities. They work for the further development of Azerbaijanis in these countries, carry out the Azerbaijani President`s policies, whom they highly respect and honor. They love their homeland and the Head of State.

Therefore, there is no need to worry about fragmentation. This is fine when the diaspora is one, but if it is not possible, and there is no a unity, then you can work in parallel," Ibrahimov said in conclusion.
