Unfortunately, despite repeated warnings about the landmines, local people ignore the safety rules risking their lives in the lands of Azerbaijan liberated from the Armenian occcupation, AzVision.az reports citing the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
In total, 5 servicemen and 9 civilians were killed, 52 servicemen and 8 civilians got injured in landmine explosions in the liberated territories from November 10, 2020 to the present.
"Until the demining of the liberated areas is completed, the most serious measures provided by law will be taken against those who have committed illegal visits," the press service stated.
