Armenians visit Amaras Monastery in Nagorno-Karabakh

Nearly 30 Armenian pilgrims visited the Amaras Monastery in the Nagorno-Karabakh region accompanied by Russian peacekeeping forces, AzVision.az reports citing the Russian Defense Ministry.

Note that, within the implementation of the trilateral statement signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on November 10, 2020, peacekeeping forces continue to assist in the restoration of peaceful life in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Russian peacekeepers provided security for Armenian pilgrims returning from Azerbaijan's Khankendi to the Amaras Monastery.
