The head of state stressed that Hadrut settlement was liberated as a result of a very successful military operation.
“First, the surrounding heights were taken. After the heights around Hadrut were taken over by the Azerbaijani Army, control over it passed to the Azerbaijani Army and the liberation of Hadrut settlement was already inevitable,” President Aliyev said.
The operation to liberate Hadrut settlement was of great importance, said the president, adding. “Because the liberation of Hadrut after the liberation of Jabrayil district and Jabrayil city was a significant event for the continuation of our military operations.”
