The trip was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The media representatives witnessed the consequences of an act of vandalism committed by Armenians.
Shahin Atashov, a ministry official, said a total of 11 mineral deposits were registered in Zangilan district.
He noted that during the occupation of Zangilan district, Armenians carried out illegal exploitation work there.
Atashov stressed the need to conduct geological inspections to determine the extent of enemy exploitation and damage in this field.
