With the decision adopted by the Transport Ministry that Baku mayor`s office and Interior Ministry were instructed to optimize regular intercity bus routes in the capital city, allow the necessary number of buses to routes, shift the bus stops from the places where they create problems for traffic, especially from crossroads and creatio of special `pockets` for stops, strengthening control over the observation of schedule and scheme of movement of intercity buses, provision of fines.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers instructed the Interior Ministry and mayor`s office to set te list of respective motor roads to ensure the movement of passenger buses and operative transport means by special lanes and within 10 days to provide for proposals about organization of the movement of indicated transport means on such lanes.
