The period of stay in Azerbaijan prescribed for foreigners and stateless persons, permanently residing in foreign countries, who have been accredited in connection with the first European Games, will expire on July 28.
According to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s decree on "Some measures for holding the first European Games" dated August 8, foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing outside the country, who have received the corresponding accreditation, can visit Azerbaijan and leave the country by presenting the passport or other documents for crossing the border and the accreditation card within the period of 60 days before the opening of the first European Games and 30 days after their completion.
Foreigners and stateless persons, permanently residing in foreign countries, who have been accredited in connection with the first European Games, started visiting Azerbaijan by presenting the passport or other documents for crossing the border and the accreditation card from April 18.
The first European Games was held on June 12-28. 30 days will pass after the completion of the Games on July 28. Thus, foreigners and stateless persons, permanently residing in foreign countries, who have been accredited, should leave Azerbaijan by July 28.
