Turkey will continue operations against Islamic State
Turkey is not obliged to report to Damascus about the operations
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Friday that security operations against Islamic State, as well as leftist and Kurdish militants, were not a one-off but were comprehensive and would continue, Reuters reported.

Appropriate actions will be taken in case of a threat to our border integrity, Davutoglu said, adding that the Turkish Armed Forces stroke IS positions under instructions.

“Turkey is not obliged to report to Damascus about the operations. The decision was made in Ankara and executed. Turkey has to ensure its security,” the PM noted.

IS and PKK terrorist groups’ committing terrorist attacks in Turkey is not accidental, Davutoglu said, stressing that “Turkey is targeted”.
