Speaking at a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Gabrielius Landsbergis in Baku on Friday, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said last year the bilateral trade rose 13% compared to 2019.
“However, the figures do not fully reflect our desire and potential. There is a great potential in this area,” Minister Bayramov said.
The Azerbaijani minister said during a meeting with his Lithuanian counterpart they underscored the importance of continuing political dialogue.
Bayramov noted that there are also opportunities for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania in the fields of agriculture, food industry and renewable energy.
