Head of IS wing in Turkey arrested
The head of the Turkish-wing of the terrorist organization "Islamic State", Halis Bayancuk, known as Abu Hanzalah, was arrested in Turkey, the Kanal7 television channel reported July 27.
Bayancuk has been actively involved in the recruitment of Turkish citizens for their departure to Syria and Iraq.

Aside from that, today more than 15 militants were detained in Ankara.

All the detainees were the members of illegal armed groups in Syria and Iraq, and the terrorist organization “Islamic State”.

Special operations against leftist and ultra-radical Islamists have intensified in Turkey in recent days.

Earlier, Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said his country would continue special operations against illegal organizations.

Over 300 people were detained during an anti-terrorist operation conducted on July 24 in 22 cities of Turkey.
