Armed attack on military unit in Turkey
A military unit in Turkey has come under an armed attack.
Turkish television channel Kanal7 reported July 28 that unidentified persons fired at a military unit in the Izmir province in the country’s southwest.

No one was injured in the incident. Those who were shooting fled the scene, and they are currently being searched for.

Armed attacks on military units have become frequent in Turkey in recent days.

Earlier, terrorists opened fire on the car of the chief of the Mus province’s gendarmerie, Major Aslan Kulaksiz.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died from severe wounds.
