An investigation was conducted regarding the serious violations that the employees of Main Military Inspection committed in the course of military service and the collected materials were submitted to the General Prosecutor`s Office
“Referring to the media reports on the employees of Main Military Inspection, we inform that upon the instruction of the Ministry of Defense, a relevant investigation was conducted regarding the serious violations that the Inspection’s employees committed in the course of military service and the collected materials were submitted to General Prosecutor`s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan for taking corresponding legal measures.”
The Defense Ministry told AzVision.az the aforesaid.
The Ministry’s press service said that the Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General had launched a criminal case basing on the materials and investigation in underway: “As noted President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief, regardless of the position and past services, everyone bears responsibility before the law for violations of the law during the period of service.”
