Armenian TV channel admits Kerki village belongs to Azerbaijan - VIDEO

A story prepared by Armenia’s H1 TV channel highlights that the village of Kerki belongs to Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports.

The story was widely discussed by Armenian social network users and criticized by the local media. Armenia’s media outlets accused H1 TV channel, known for its pro-Pashinyan stance, of supporting Azerbaijan.

“H1 TV channel, which has become a propaganda tool in the hands of the opposite side, aired an interesting story, in which journalist Norayr Shogikyan presents Tigranesh (Kerki) as an Azerbaijani village. He says the village was formerly called Kerki. Thus, the Armenian authorities and the government-coordinated H1 TV channel are preparing the ground for the division of our territories and the signing of another shameful document,” the Armenian media said.

The village of Kerki, which is included in the administrative territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, was occupied in 1990.
