Batch of Armenian brandy destroyed in Baku
The State Committee has disseminated the information.
On July 29, a batch of products, imported into the country through smuggling and confiscated by the customs authorities, was destroyed on the designated area near the town of Sumgayit with participation of media representatives, AzVision.Az reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The information says that according to the conclusion of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, a total of 64,802 boxes of different tobacco products unsuitable for use were destroyed.

According to the Center for Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice, 207 kg of sausage, 91 kg of smoked fish and 218 cans of caviar with expired date were destroyed.

Also 611 bottles of beer and 864 liters of wine produced by artisanal methods that did not meet the standard requirements.

In addition, 446 bottles of mineral water, 659 bottles of lemonade, 3815 soft and energy drinks, as well as 317 bottles of different liquid oils in connection with the expiration date had been destroyed.

Also, according to the conclusion of forensic Center, 311,071 pieces of fireworks hazardous to human health, as well as 252 counterfeit mobile phones were destroyed.

In addition, among the goods confiscated by customs officers 31 bottle of cognac, 51 pack of cigarettes and 23 cans of coffee were also destroyed.
